The word Ayurveda is translated as “The Knowledge of Life”. Ayurveda is the core of leading a healthy and balanced life. Its principles are universal. Practiced for the last 5,000 years, it is a holistic approach to health science, originated from India. Ayurveda seeks to restore a natural balance and a healthy state of mind, body, and soul. Ayurveda is the science of understanding the root cause of an imbalance in order to help alleviate the associated symptoms of that underlying condition or illness with harmony in the body, mind, and soul.
A balanced daily routine is the essence of the Ayurveda, standing on the pillars of (Dinacharya), seasonal regime (Ritucharya), and a wholesome diet. With a unique mind-body-soul constitution (Prakriti), each individual is treated as unique. Bringing an individual in tune with nature strives to improve the harmony and happiness of the body, mind, and soul.
Ayurveda is the ultimate form of preventive medicine wherein an individual comes to know himself or herself so well that imbalances in his body, mind, or soul are recognized early on before they begin to translate into diseases. We as humans will always get the signs and symptoms of what is going within us. We can identify these symptoms and make corrections through proper diet and lifestyle choices. Ayurveda helps each individual to take action and responsibility for their own well-being.

What is Ojas?
What is Ojas?
Have you ever wondered why some people fall sick frequently while others stay healthy and strong? It is because of the Ojas that contributes to the immunity. The ultimate and refined result of the digestion, metabolism, absorption, and assimilation that translates into an auto-immune system is termed as Ojas. Having utmost influence on one’s physical, emotional and mental life, Ojas connects the mind to body and consciousness by nourishing all body tissues.
Ojas is prevalent in the heart and percolates the entire body. Similar to bees collecting honey from flowers, Ojas can be collected by the influence of enzymes (Agnis) from the seven tissues of — blood, plasma, adipose tissue (fat), bone, muscle, bone marrow, and reproductive tissue (male’s semen and women’s ovum). Responsible for higher states of consciousness, Ojas is the purest substance in the universe, stimulating the thoughts of intelligence, memory, bliss, joy, better immunity, positivity, love, and thought process. It is omnipresent in humans, Ojas increases when an individuals’ consciousness awakens spontaneously. Ojas sustains the life of an individual and the entire human physiology depends on it.
“The quality, intensity, and volume of Ojas makes the difference between one human being to another”
“ओजस की गुणवत्ता, तीव्रता और मात्रा एक इंसान से दूसरे इंसान के बीच अंतर करती है”

The human body functions differently in each season, leading to a variation in the digestive fire or agni, making people more prone to environmental changes. The wellbeing of an individual is dependent on the seven dhatus that make up the human body – that is – Mamsa (muscle), Medha (fat), Rasa (lymph), Asthi (bone), Rakta (blood), Majja (bone marrow) and Shukra (semen/reproductive tissue). Each of these 7 layers is interdependent and strengthens each other, and together they all contribute to Ojas or the immunity. Herbs or herbal elements are core ingredients that help in increasing the Ojas levels in our body. Some herbs that are prime contributors to Ojas are as follows:
